Peek a Boo!

The girls put the tunnel around Havanna.  She was happy as a clam pulling that thing up and down!

My girls

Are SO SO SO cute.  They just are.

Those cheeks?!  I can't help but smile when I see that face.

Where DO they learn this stuff?!

Special moment: Berlyn poses for the camera.

Whatta cutie.

Bugs!

What a good dad he is.

Yum Yums!

Sigh.  My baby girl is growing much too fast.  Yesterday I caved and let her try 'real' food.  I opened a container of green beans, which she wasn't absolutely thrilled about.  Maybe I subconciously chose something not very appealing just so she wouldn't be as eager about it.  I'm just not ready for this!  After a few spoonfuls, none of which seemed to make it into her belly, I put the lid on to save for tomorrow.  Havanna, baby girl...  will you please stay my little baby for just a little while longer?!?!

Time for Tea!

We called Nana and invited her to a tea party, spur of the moment.  We had apple juice and muffins and a whole lot of fun.

And then I cried.

When I got home from work today, I came home to Nick playing on the floor with all three girls surrounding him.  They had the box of barbies out and they were all talking in their high pitched, make believe voices.  Even little Havanna was sitting up by herself, like a big girl, just smiling away.  It all just makes a mommy's heart melt.  We put the girls down for their naps and I made this delicious brie and rasberry filled pastry for Nick and I.  He put on a movie and I walked over to settle into my favorite, comfy chair to relax while the house was quiet.
That. Is when I saw... THIS.  Now, neither of us saw what happened.  Still, without any doubt, I know exactly which daughter of mine found a pin.  If I give you ONE guess, can you figure out who's art work this is?

I ate my dinner, mom!

A Labor Day, minus the labor

Ready to dive in the kiddie pool.

She twirled.  She jumped up and down.  She did it all and THEN slid down the slide.

Me, loving time with my girls.

Teaching Miss. T to ride the scooter.

We picked apples from the tree.

My little rag-a-muffin beauty.

Dog cages.  Not just for dogs.

Havanna just turned 6 months old.  I can hardly believe it.

Nighty Night.  She did NOT sleep so tight.  She ended up in our bed.

These girls love time with daddy.

She wasn't thrilled about having to wait her turn for the swing.

On our walk, Berlyn chose to straddle the stroller instead.

Let's throw rocks!

Just me and B

No binkie?  No problem.  She found her thumb.

Time to play!

Relaxing with daddy

Vrooom!!!!  Vroom Vroom!

Does she look like me, yet?

We leave those two alone for juuuuuust a minute...

And this is what laying shirtless in a hammock does.

Searing for arrowheads in the river.  No such luck.
Spur of the moment, we decided to go 'camp out' in Miranda for some much needed family time.  No cleaning house.  No working on the rental.  It was glorious.  It was 82 degrees In. The. Shade.  This meant that both girls could strip of their clothes and run around in their birthday suits the entire time. Oh... to be a kid again....  It was so much fun having being together as a family, dedicating time to laughing and making memories.
