Today my dad had to go to the vet and put our family dog to sleep. After 14 years, Kelly left us with so many great memories and she was a wonderful companion for my parents after Adam and I grew up. She will be so greatly missed.
Talullah and I decided to go spend the afternoon with papa to help keep him smiling after an emotional day. We got to play in the backyard and Taley showed papa her new serious face. She even thrilled him with another new trick... whispering papa when we walked through the door! Hopefully we distracted him through what would have been a lonely afternoon without his usual 'shadow' following him around.
