Today's party is brought to you by the letter B and the number 2!!! Berlyn LOVES Elmo. We have had the same Elmo dvd in the van for the past six months, and she wants to watch it as soon as the car starts. Having an Elmo themed party just seemed fitting. We had Elmolicious food, and Dorothy the fish hung out on the table. We were able to borrow the coolest bounce house, a HUGE hit for the little ones. While Berlyn isn't quite old enough to really grasp the party is for her, there were some special moments that just melted my heart. Nick held Berlyn as everyone sang Happy Birthday and I lit the candle on her cupcake. Our precious little girl just shrugged her shoulders up with the biggest grin, and then buried her head in her daddy's shoulder being shy. At that moment, she got that everyone was singing for her. Then, when she started opening her presents, she unwrapped a couple. She handed one present to a friend, then another gift to a different friend. God bless her, she was finally trying to SHARE.
