And they have flown by so fast. Two years have gone by since I went from Miss Perry to Mrs. Downey. All day Nick and I were recalling what we had been doing on our wedding day... the anticipation, excitement, preparation. In that short amount of time so much has happened! We became parents and will soon be a family of FOUR. So hard to believe! I think back to when I used to go watch Somewhere North play, and I can clearly picture Nick up on stage strumming the guitar, closing his eyes as he sang, and wiggling his naked toes against the floor. I would have no idea that years later that man would be my husband and the father of my children. Life is such a crazy ride and I love every minute of it.
