It was Saturday, and it was fabulous. The sun was shining, so we spent hours out in the yard getting some much needed Vitamin D. Being at my parents house always FEELS like the weekend, because the kids love playing with Papa and Nana so much, they hardly notice me at all. I just sit back with the baby and relax a little.
During our lunch 'picnic', I was truly thrilled to see Berlyn chomping down on raw carrots. Oh the pride, as a parent, when you see your children enjoying veggies. Then... I realized she was only dipping them and licking off the ranch. Again, and again, and again.
